  • Will there be any retaliation for filing a complaint?

    It is presumed that all reports are made in good faith and seeking only and exclusively that the reported conducts adhere to the ethical principles of the Company, so there will be NO retaliation in case of making a complaint.

    However, it is our duty to protect the integrity and respect for the reputation and image of our employees, therefore, a report made in bad faith with the purpose of discrediting, denigrating or falsely accusing as a means of revenge, is undesirable conduct and will be sanctioned in accordance with the applicable policies.

    The Code of Ethics of Asarco establishes a section on non-retaliation, which is a policy of the organization.

  • Why report?

    We want you to develop in an environment of respect and law, in equal circumstances, protecting you from any conduct that could affect you in the work or personal environment, thus promoting a healthy and harmonious climate of free expression, which contributes to the strengthening of our Company and its contribution to the community, society and the authorities.

  • What are the hours for reporting complaints, doubts or concerns by telephone?

    You can do so Monday through Saturday from 8 am to 10 pm and Sunday from 9 am to 3 pm. Also, we remind you that you can leave a message on our voicemail 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

  • When should I use Integral Whistleblower System Asarco?

    When you are aware of, are informed of, or are involved in a situation that violates Asarco Code of Ethics. Likewise, when you have concerns or suggestions that you prefer to be handled by the Ethics Committee instead of dealing directly with your supervisor. The decision to use Integral Whistleblower System Asarco is voluntary.

  • How long will it take to resolve a complaint that has already been filed?

    Due to the complexity of each particular complaint, the Committee will determine the time required to investigate and resolve the complaints made.

  • What happens if after I submit my report I want to provide more information?

    At any time, you as a whistleblower can access Integral Whistleblower System Asarco and with a tracking folio in hand you will provide new information or any recidivism, if known.

FOLLOW-UP TO YOUR COMPLAINT

In the Integral Complaints System, you can keep in touch with the people in charge of handling your report and have a conversation with them anonymously. With your tracking folio, you can keep in touch with your organization and stay informed about the progress of your report.
